The website re-design came about as a result of a re-brand. The key objectives were to bring the look and feel in line with the re-brand, while streamlining the shopping experience to encourage repeat purchase and increase sales.
To showcase the beautiful new re-brand on the homepage I brought the product to the fore.
The re-brand was launched along with a "Good Energy, Twice" campaign. The "good energy" concept has been carried through to the website look and feel as well as the content. I introduced a social section on the homepage to surface the vibrancy on their social media channels. And simple infographics explain the campaign concept across the website.
To simplify the shopping experience and to encourage repeat purchase, I refined the categories and filters and introduced one-click purchase.
I created a mini basket which activates once an item is added to the basket, this gives the user feedback and offers a quick reference and access to the basket and checkout.
I've used tabs on the product page, so the information on the page isn't overwhelming, ensuring the page is clear and easy to use.
I've used a stepped checkout process, which I chose to suit the target market. A clear progress bar and address finder functionality helping to make the process clear and easy to use.
For launch I designed a teaser emailer, and a emailer template with modular components and colour schemes to cover the clients needs.
